We were in this really great café during the corona pandemic and more than thrilled. Very nice service, really tasty waffles and the hygiene requirements are adhered to really well.

Very cute cafe in a beautiful landscape at the foot of the castle. Ideal for hikers and cyclists, with a great selection of homemade cakes / pies / biscuits / ... We have been to many cafes in Germany and have eaten by far the best pies and cakes here. The prices are also fair. My recommendation: raspberry cake and bee sting :)

Cult café in Unterburg with a small beer garden. I like to come here with foreign guests to eat Bergisch style. Clear recommendation!

Here you can drink coffee, cakes and small Bergische specialties in a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and it is very clean. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back.

Beautiful half-timbered house in a mountain style, very well-kept atmosphere. After a nice hike, we stopped there and enjoyed the well-deserved coffee and cake. Highly recommended especially because of the very friendly staff so you feel welcome as a guest!

Very good cake, coffee and waffles. A visit to the Café Meyer is particularly worthwhile, if you alternatively consider eating at the castle. Below it is cheaper and better. There was a good selection of cakes, the portions came close to a main meal and the service is friendly and fast. The prices are self-confident, but you also get large portions and good quality.
